/ about the project
Youths in Singapore often feel overwhelmed, but support feels distant or judgmental – resorting to finding comfort in vices. From what we discovered, community consistently emerged as a key theme. For youths, support from a community isn’t just helpful, it’s the emotional anchor that gives youth strength to keep going.

Thryve is a non-government initiative empowering youths to overcome addiction and unhealthy habits.
Have you, a friend, or someone close to you ever struggled with addiction or unhealthy habits? We understand how challenging this journey can be! We’re developing an app and platform to support young people dealing with issues like gambling, alcohol, smoking, drugs, and behavioral addictions.
Our mission is to build a supportive community where youths can track their progress, reflect through journaling, connect with peers, and involve family for added support. Beyond the app, we organize events and talks to share stories, discuss prevention, and foster connections-with special guests from the community.
Together, we aim to build meaningful connections and promote well-being among youths, helping each other thrive on the journey to recovery and self-improvement.
