3D visual layout
my first introduction to c4d and redshift!
the final vs the mockup!
This was one of my first explorations into 3D using Cinema 4D and Redshift. The goal was to get comfortable with basic modelling, material nodes, and lighting setups — while still having fun with form and colour. I created this playful chrome character floating in a surreal bubble world, experimenting with HDRI reflections, glass shaders, and iridescent lighting. It’s weird, shiny, and slightly chaotic — just how a first 3D test should be.
rotoscoping study
isolating movement and layering motion
a short clip i had to edit for a friend + ideation
This was a simple motion test focused on rotoscoping and frame-by-frame masking. Using footage of a packaging opening, I isolated key movements to enhance the animation with layered motion graphics. The goal wasn’t complexity — just a clean showcase of timing, isolation, and compositing through rotoscope techniques in After Effects.
illustrator speed test
a little challenge for myself!
it's an beluga themed superhero! (?) + initial sketch on photoshop
Created in just under an hour, this illustration was a quick challenge to showcase my vector workflow, colour control, and character design skills in Adobe Illustrator. The piece plays with minimal shapes, flat colours, and one expressive character — proving that even under time pressure, clarity and style can still shine through.
apple wallet advert
a personal project
trying to capture the Apple essence
This motion piece was designed to showcase the effortless convenience and clean interface of Apple Wallet. Inspired by Apple’s minimalist brand language, the advert focuses on fluid transitions, subtle animations, and a clear visual hierarchy — all while maintaining a sleek, product-forward tone.
I kept the pacing tight and purposeful, using precise typography and iconography to highlight key features like tap-to-pay, card organization, and digital access. The challenge was to balance utility with elegance — staying true to Apple’s design DNA while creating something that felt fresh and dynamic.
This project served as a motion branding exercise in simplicity, control, and visual clarity.
3D exploration in AE
playing around with extrusion and the built-in camera
2 short 3D videos, made purely in After Effects
A quick test exploring After Effects' 3D layers and camera animation. This experiment was focused on understanding how to build and animate depth in a 3D space using native AE tools — testing geometry (extrusion), orientation, and perspective through motion.
